An air conditioner fails in a handful of predictable ways, and the difference between a $200 fix and a $9,000 replacement is whether anyone actually tested the system. We measure electrical, airflow and refrigerant values, show you the readings, and quote the repair before we touch anything.
No cooling / system not turning on
The most common call we take. We work the sequence from the thermostat through the low-voltage circuit, float switch, breaker, disconnect, contactor, capacitor and compressor rather than guessing. A dead system is often a $200 electrical part, and a technician who checks properly will tell you that instead of opening with a replacement quote.
Frozen evaporator coils
Ice on the indoor coil or refrigerant line always traces back to airflow or charge. Clogged filters, crushed or undersized returns, closed supply registers, a failing blower or a refrigerant leak all pull the coil below freezing.
